Spring Wrestling Session begins on March 11th!
Join us for our upcoming Spring Wrestling session which begins on Monday, March 11th.
During the Spring session, we will once again be offering two (2) programs:
1) Panther Sports Academy’s Level 1 Program. This program is designed for those that have little or no experience in the sport of wrestling. Learning the fundamentals and developing a solid foundation in a safe and encouraging environment is the focus in this program. Competition is NOT the emphasis in our level 1 program.
2) Freestyle/Greco-Roman season. This program is catered to wrestlers that have wrestling experience, and the focus is to learn and expand in the international style of wrestling. Most wrestlers in this program will be practicing and training to attend local and State level tournaments this spring.
DATES: March 11- May 22, 2019
PRACTICE DAYS: Monday’s and Wednesday’s
TIME: 6:00-8:00PM
WHO: Ages 8- High School

COST:
- $200 plus a one (1) time $25 registration fee for the 2018-2019 school year.
- ONLY $175 for those that participated in either the Fall Preseason session or Kids Folkstyle season.

2nd Place finish at the Freestyle Wrestling State Championships for Henry Amador
We are extremely proud of Henry’s effort, work ethic, dedication and continuous improvement during this 2018 Freestyle wrestling season.

Coach Cuervo guided and coached his twin son’s, Eric and Gabe Chandler to multiple Youth State wrestling titles, Southeast regional titles, and All-American honors at USA Wrestling kids National Championships back when David was the club coach for the Wolverine Wrestling Club.
*Note: Both Eric and Gabe each won multiple High School Individual State wrestling titles as Gabe was a 2x High School State Champion and 3x placer. Eric became the 1st 9th grader in the history of Miami-Dade County to win an individual High School Wrestling State title, as he ended his High School wrestling career as a 3x High School wrestling State Champion and 1x runner up, and earned All-American honors at the NHSCA high School Sr. Nationals.

7 PSA wrestlers place at the Wellington Freestyle Wrestling tournament on 4-7-18
Congratulations to PSA’s Head wrestling Coach Sergio Hernandez, the coaching staff and the PSA Wrestling group on their efforts and performance at the Freestyle Wrestling tournament at Wellington, FL on Saturday, April 7th.

2018 Panther Sports Academy’s half day summer sports camp
Join us this summer for Panther Sports Academy half day summer sports camp at:
Coral Park Christian Academy

This camp is for children entering Kindergarten-8th grade
Sports sessions include: Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball. Volleyball for 3rd grade and up.
Sessions:
Week 1- June 4th- June 8th- 8:00AM- 12:00 Noon (Free before camp care from 7:00-8:00)
Week 2- June 11th- June 15th- 1:00PM-4:30PM (Free after after camp care from 4:30-6:00)
Week 3- June 18th- June 22nd- 8:00AM- 12:00 Noon (Free before camp care from 7:00-8:00)
Week 4- June 25th- June 29th- 8:00AM- 12:00 Noon (Free before camp care from 7:00-8:00)
Cost: $110 a week
Early registration price: $95/week
There is a non-refundable one time $25 fee due at registration
Early registration deadline: Friday, April 20th
Registration will open on Monday, April 2nd
NOTE: During the weeks of June 18-22 and June 25-29, anyone participating in sports camp during those two (2) weeks can register for CPCA’s summer camp for the 2nd half of the day at a discounted rate of only $80 for the week.
